The Assembly of God Church School, Tollygunge

God bless our School, for this we humbly pray,
May we be good at home, at school, at play,
Help us to learn and study hard each day,
God bless our School, God bless our School.
We thank Thee Lord for Thou hast heard our prayer,
For all our boys and girls in Thy great care,
Now grant that we may ever thankful be,
For our grand School, we thank Thee Lord.

   "My Utmost for His Highest"

PURPOSE

The purposes of The Assembly of God Church School are to provide a high standard of education under Christian leadership of The Assembly of God Church for Christian children and children of all communities, recognising and maintaining that the guiding principle of the governing character and discipline of the School shall be based on Christian teaching.
The School shall, at the discretion of the Board of Management, and as it is able, endeavour to make education available to those children whose parents cannot otherwise afford to send them to School.
For selection of students this is the motive of the school- that all under-privileged children shall always have the preference of admission and assistance.

  1. Hello Admin,
It appears that your page has not been updated lately. Please allow me to offer my humble updates. The school, till a few months back, used to have its own website that was opened with much fanfare. Alas, the page is down as of date, and the domain up for sale. Mrs Norman, the erstwhile principal of the school has been replaced by Mrs E Thomas, ably seconded by Mr Page in the Junior school. Besides the website, the guardians have been provided with E Diary, a service which sends real time updates via email to the guardians concerning their wards, homework given in the class, exam dates and all. There are more data that could be given, but the comment section of a blog is, as I believe, an improper space for such antics. There is really a lot happening at AG Tollygunge these days. I hope the admin will wake up to the occasion and arrange to update her blog. I welcome any request for cooperation in this regard.
